Modi Visits Kashmir:People curfewed,communications blocked

SRINAGAR – Today Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi visited Kashmir as a part of poll rally after which he visited the badami bagh cantonment to pay tributes to the Indian soldiers who were killed in a militant attack in Uri.

Modi’s visit to Kashmir was followed by curfew, restrictions and blockage of internet services.No reason was given for such actions. However, it is believed that step was taken as security measure.

The venue where the rally was scheduled to take place was highly secured by deploying govt. forces in a huge number.
